Finding Hope in Foster Care
The city Administration for Children Services is required to identify immigrant youth in foster care who are eligible to become legal permanent residents. But many undocumented minors in foster care, like Vanessa Fuentes, struggle to gain special immigrant juvenile status before they age out of the system. Fuentes shares her story.
